Totally stumbled on this fabulous linocut screen print art by Tisha Lee through her Etsy shop The Wise Folk Workshop. She created wonderful prints based on her travels to India so I find it delightful to see the hand pulled linocut printmaking featuring Indian people sitting on scooters Indian men ironing outside on their workstations and people bathing in the Indian Rivers. Her work looks so textural and such a great punch of colour with contrast. I'm totally digging it.

This "Family in India riding a scooter' totally makes me smile. It use to freak me out when I actually saw this on the streets..amazing. Available here.

Monday must have... a little Dignify

It's June. Whoa. For some reason it crept up on me. Well, its here and I plan to enjoy it fully. For me that is usually easy when I'm looking at fabulous design collections. Shelley Jones from Dignify contacted me a little while ago and introduced me to her beautiful kantha quilts. She sent me a mini sample of the fabric (which now my daughter uses as a doll blanket) and I was really impressed with the quality. Shelley curates beautiful objects from around the globe and her kantha quilts are just a smattering of what Dignify has to offer.  The Golden Silk kantha is a total must have for me today...
