Holiday edition. I couldn't help myself. I would wear my Christmas tree if I could.
A bright red & blue salwar suit available here totally represents thisk wild red tree in a bright blue room. Spotted here. Wow.

The weekend snow storm was a perfect opportunity to catch up on my laundry list of to do's, but I kind of ditched it and played in the snow with my kids. It was fun to toboggan down a puny hill. We pretended to trek across the Arctic and then came home and had hot chocolate with marshmallows. It all worked...happy kids and happy me.
This was a pretty moment.
It was fluffy & white.
Ready to come down hill.
Hello spiky evergreen.
Nothing like just taking a break in the snow.

Christmas is right around the corner peeps. If anyone around the interweb (ahem, husband or sisters) is looking to gift me something...any of these would work. Just saying...a girl can dream.

Just like every other photo happy giddy parent I was excited to see my baby sing at her 'winter/Christmas/ insert any other politically correct holiday concert. People let's get real, we go their to see our kids and that's about it. I mean they were all kinda cute - but not as cute as my kid. The concert was ahem, a little 'dry' at parts, but ya all the kids were trying, kinda sorta. I'm going to be perfectly honest here, the decor left me underwhelmed and frankly, a little sad. For the love of Christmas, why didn't someone paint a Christmas tree? Sure kids sang great, hell, I sang...but seriously no effort on the visuals? I'm not making this up - look.
But you want to know what has some awesome visuals? Sure you do. Blogger extraordinaire, Priya from Once Upon a Tea time has launched her very own South Asian Design magazine! I got to give her props this busy lady has somehow carved out time from her blog, her family, her academia and work no less, to put this awesome issue together and I'm kinda proud of her and I have never even met her. So, sit back and enjoy the eye candy folks...you won't be disappointed.
Apparently those are snowflakes. The Canadian flag looks festive I guess. Probably time for me to join some sort of parent council or something to remedy this sad excuse for a concert. #publicschoolletdown
Check out the Once Upon A Tea Time December Issue and you'll be blown away with all the colour and inspiration.

Really, there is a little place up here (near Milton for you locals) where Christmas town exists. The brains behind this operation was my sister J. She is good at finding 'activities' to do with kids. Love that - I just tag along. So we went on a wagon ride decked out with Christmas bells, chilled out with Ms Claus, had some hot chocolate & cookies and visited Big S himself in his country cabin. I totally took about 1000 photos of my kids and my kid told big S that I want lipstick for Christmas. Lipstick? Really? I smell a what I want for Christmas post coming on....
Christmas tree au natural.
The lady who runs the show.
These horses were pretty. Good times in Christmas town.
