Happy Vaisaki!

Tuesday, April 13, 2010

In other words, happy new year from us Sikhs (yep, that would be me). Vaisakhi is traditional ancient  harvest festival celebrated by Sikhs around the globe to reflect on the year gone by and blessings for the new one beginning. Who am I to skip out an granting happy new year wishes and sending positive blessings out into the universe? So dear readers, may your year (new or continued) be full of happiness, good health and a whole lotta love. Okay time to bust out the bhangra (dance) moves with my kiddies.

This is what's so great about blogging -- learning new things :-) I hadn't heard of Vaisaki before. Best wishes for a happy and healthy year to you too :-)
