Kiddy Corner: Baby Name Art

Friday, May 21, 2010

Ah the weekend is almost here! For those of you attending birthday parties or baby showers or anything kiddy related event this weekend check out these unique gift ideas. Try some typographic name art. I love typography...I love looking at different text and script and nothing is better than looking at your kids name hanging as a piece of art. Parents love this stuff. So if you want to score as having brought the coolest gift (with the parents at least, kids keep looking for the toys) one of these pieces of artwork would definitely do the trick. Happy Friday folks.

This one takes the cake for me, I bought one for my kids and one for my nephew. So much fun and local home grown talent too. Available on Etsy. You can check out the Toronto artist Lindsay's work on her Penny People website here.

Simple and classic. Artwork by Philadelphia artist Beth Gerstenfeld. Available on her Etsy shop.

This decal jumble of letters is fantastic too by Willow Creek Signs available on  Etsy.

So many types of letters. Love it. By Grace Hester Designs available on via Etsy.

One of my faves because it is so graphic and fun. By artist and blogger extraordinare, Jennifer Ramos. Her work is available on Etsy.

I like the school house grammer school vibe. Visit the prettymod shop on etsy.

Great finds! I love the simplicity of the second one and the one that looks like a concert poster.
