Treehouse vacation...

Friday, July 30, 2010

TGIF. Today is a vacation day for me and we're taking the kids up to a cottage for this long weekend to spend time with friends and chill. I really need to chill, my shoulders are WAY too tense.  Now only if I was in Sweden, I would take the kids for a weekend stay in this mirrorcube treehouse. Check out this fantastic treehouse designed by Tham & Videgard 40 miles south of the arctic circle in Sweden. It is one of 6 units in the 'Tree Hotel" that is almost invisible with its mirrored face. Simply extraordinary. Happy Friday folks.

Mad isn't it? I had to keep looking at these shots to see if it was real. Talk about being one with nature. I think I need to put this vacation spot on my bucket list (when I actually get around to doing one). All images via here.
