A bright idea...

Wednesday, February 9, 2011

So Vday is fast approaching, and truth be told, I kind of forgot all about it. Luckily, this Home Depot valentines pack reminded me of a few things.

1. Get my hubby a vday prezzie. Just like Wendy from Desire to Decorate suggested..these bulbs should do the trick.
2. Make valentines for my daughter's class...I would love to craft some with here as there are some great ideas out there like this one from Rambling Renovator, this  from My Owl Barn and this one from Hi Sugar Plum. Or I'll just run out to Walmart and buy me some of these.
3. Get a trip into Home Depot as I need some serious paint samples and need to look for some affordable closet organizing options.

Not bad for a paper bag full of light bulbs. Thanks Home Depot.

So you really are on the closet bandwagon! I wish I was too but my closets are miniscule! Maybe all the more reason to get on it!

I feel like such a slacker - I do nothing special for my hubby for Valentine's Day! Maybe I'll get off my butt this year and try to be a little bit creative - lots of inspiration in the links you shared, thanks :-)

And thanks for participating in my giveaway - good luck!

V Day is only as special as you want it to be, thankfully! Case in point my husband who is on a diet and declared didn't want any of the truffles I made, so they went to my sis in law!

Feeling guilty that I haven't blogged about the HD gift. We did our master closet with Rubbermaid Configurations - inexpensive, flexible and easy to install. Used to work for California Closets so I have them everywhere else - very nice but pricey!
