Bring in some spring

Tuesday, March 22, 2011

So how do you bring some spring indoors?  Tulips. That's time you go grocery shopping just pick up some tulips (or any other flower that suits your fancy) and bam! Instant happy. That's exactly what I did on my recent shopping trip and there are so many lovely colours to pick from. Cheap too which makes it feel even better. Affordable design fix.  K picked the, of course. Its amazing how a simple flower can brighten grey days like today. Don't believe me? Just look at the rooms below.
Kitchen table tulips. The black pot was from the grocery store too (hopefully hubby won't notice and will assume I had it all along). Now, let's hope I don't kill these. Images via me.

Your pink tulips are so pretty! They look windswept. I love the orange ones - one of my favorite color combos. Thanks for sharing.

I missed your birthday. Happy Happy Birthday. Glad you had fun.
Tulips are THE most stylish flower going I think - I always hunt down the yellow.
Oh, and that previous post with the paisley. Perfection. That bedroom (2nd shot) looks so relaxing. I remember I had paisley pants (truly, it sounds bad - but there were really cool) when I was a teenager and have loved paisely ever since.

Have a great week (-:

Love the Amy Lau space. Tulips are my favourite flower, especially in orange. I can't get enough of them this time of year.

so pretty and I love having tulips in the home. Last week I got some and I actually managed to kill them....somehow they ran out of water..but believe it or not they came back to life. They are so resilient!
