Don't go to Homesense when you're hungry...

Wednesday, March 23, 2011

Why? Because you buy beautiful shit you don't need due to a lack of blood sugar in your body that would otherwise thwart your random buying urges. One needs to eat in advance so that you won't start randomly taking pictures on your blackberry of more wonderful things in the store and then insanely start BBMing your sisters to go out and buy it for their spaces. Alright, maybe this just happens to me. I have way too many pictures of home decor items on my blackberry. Probably more than pictures of my kids. That can't be right can it? pretty. Anyone want to take a guess?
Yes a lantern. What the hell am I going to do with a Moroccan inspired lantern? Who knows..but its freaking gorgeous. I have eaten now and can confidently say that I still love it even though I have no idea where its going to live. Hubby's eyes are going to roll when he sees this. Images via me.

You are not the only one who does that at HomeSense =)

Love that lantern, it's lovely! And my husband does the same thing when I bring something home... sometimes I just have to pretend I've had it all along!

Gorgeous! I love the blue. I always buy a ton of stuff at Home Sense and think I can just return it if I change my mind... I don't end up doing very many returns!

Love it! Love the blue peeking through the cutwork! I also just recently brought home a lantern from Home Goods that I didn't really have any reason to buy. I'm thinking maybe when the snow finally goes away, I might hang it from the peak of our patio canopy. It might provide some nice party mood lighting. Yours is just gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.

You're so funny! That is a beautiful lantern, though! Great find. And I truly believe that if you love it, it can work somewhere in your space!

Funny and true, you should never shop when you are impaired:) I guess you will just need to design an entire room around it.

Too funny. I carry a granola bar and my iphone in my purse. Neither have prevented me from making insane random purchases :o\

You are so right!!! Love the purchase. I found a few amazing items last week, one planned, one not! I don't think I was hungry though....

Pretty! I brought home a moroccan-style light fixture for my living room from Homesense the other day (not sure if you've ever watched Marriage Under Construction - same one used in the current season dining room). Hubby dislikes it but what does he know ... hehehe
