Desi Art: Indian Wedding Watercolours...

Thursday, May 19, 2011

Wedding season is kicking off for me this upcoming weekend, so it was quite fitting to feature this fantastic artist/illustrator Cate Parr. All her watercolours are beautifully delicate and at the same time so rich with drama. Of course, I'm partial to the Indian Bride series and just love how she has so perfectly captured the detail and glamour that surrounds Indian weddings. It has been a long time since I was an Indian bride, but this desi art is making me want to hang some of this loveliness all over my walls. You can check out Cate's watercolour fashion at her etsy shop here.
Stunning. Indian Bride series by Cate Parr available here.
Gorgeous colours. Available here.

Another romantic piece from Cate Parr. Do yourself a favour and check our her Etsy shop, you won't regret it.
