We didn't see this sideboard coming...

Wednesday, May 18, 2011

It wasn't too long ago when I asked you dear readers to help hubby & I come up with a sideboard solution for our kitchen (remember here & here). Well, I thought we were all well and good with our decision as hubby won loud & clear; however, a few weekends ago we casually walked into one Toronto store and spotted the sideboard that would fit perfectly in our kitchen. We both knew right away it was the one, or maybe we were just rushed because the kids were getting restless and rolling around the store floor. Who knows, either way we found our perfect piece and I'm happy with the way it fits in our kitchen. Now for the hard part, how do I accessorize this baby?
Walnut finish sideboard from Casalife with lovely pink tulips to get started.
What do you think? It is black glass at the front and reflects the light. Believe it or not, I have yet to reorganize and fill this sideboard up.
We brought in our living room art because it fits really well here. I love looking at this piece and am so glad we found it and agreed on it together.

I love it! The perfect choice. Looks good with the bar stools too.

Love the new sideboard! The walnut is so warm, but modern too. The black glass fronts tie in with your existing furniture, and look great with the new counter stools. Absolutely perfect! Thanks for sharing.

This is lovely S! Better than the other 2 choices and no wonder why you both agreed. Love the painting on the wall, warm and radiant. Try a lamp on one side that can add more warmth. Tulips are looking good :-)
