Alright people...you must be getting tired of all my 'family updates'. Back to good looking rooms right? So today's dilemma-you are craving colourful stripes. Do you go for bold coloured walls or pimp out your floor? What would you pick if you absolutely had to pick?

if I must - I think it would be the floor. It kind of reminds me of the Style at Home booth at IDS.

If I had to...The Floor! It looks so fun...against the white walls and the simple decor.
PS: Happy birthday to your little one! I have a son who is two and a half...really wonder at times, where the time went...
Can I choose both? I guess I would choose the wall, but I think it's because I love the feel of the room more. And the colour combo is quite unique.
Definitely the floor. The walls feel a little schizophrenic to me but the floor just feels vibrant, young and COOL. #2 - 100%.
not sure about the floor, looks a bit too play school to me, i'd probably go for the walls!

I would probably go with the floor, that's safe to choose I guess :) but depending on the size of the room and the height of the ceiling(it has to be big and high) I can be bold and go for the wall.

i would do strips on the walls before the floors -- this floor option seems too playroom like for me.

I'd go with the floor. Although I wouldn't do either in my own home, they do look good in the right space.

Both rooms are gorgeous again.. But the second one.. with the coloured floor.. is gorgeous!! :-)
the walls please. the colors are more coherent, and there's the slight play with geometry. The floor, though good, is nowhere near the wall. A bit 'tribal', i must say.
