If you HAD to pick...

Wednesday, September 7, 2011

So I'm doing a 'juice' detox and can't eat anything for 3 days. It is day 3 and well, yes I feel lighter, but the only thing detoxing out of my body is my crankiness. Big time irritable. Yes, I know self-inflicted...but I wanted to try it out and cleanse my insides blah, blah (and maybe, ahem, lose a few pounds). Sadly all I  think about is how I can't eat anything. Making dinner for the kids is brutal and I can't be quite sure but  I think a kernal of corn may have accidently landed in my mouth yesterday...so does that count as cheating?  I swear I'm dreaming about Starbucks everynight and something covered in chocolate! Sorry for the rant...blame it on the lack of food. Just got to get through the day..so folks, if you had to pig out in a kitchen after a cleanse...which would you pick?

clean and modern for me!!!

If you pureed that kernel, it would have become juice, no?

I did a detox before I got pregnant the first time...a month of no sugar and no artificial stuff...no dairy, no meat...then at the end I went to a yoga retreat for a three day cleanse...it was ok for losing weight because I didn't like very much of the allowable food...so it turned into a fast. That wasn't really the goal of the program though...

First one! I've done a couple juice cleanses and know exactly how you feel. It's the worst preparing meals for everyone else and then sitting down to your 8oz of green juice. Although mine had a fabulous cashew milk at the end of the day which I LOVED!

Huh!! I totally understand how it feels. But hang on there you will like the results. Don't loose days like me - loose some kilos :-)

I don't know if it's just me, but I can't see the second picture, although I've clicked through the link. As much as I love a bit of eclecticism, that one is a little too much for me, so have to go with the first one.

I have started a back-to-school-resolution for myself of drinking more water. Thus I have been in the kitchen alot more so the 1st photo of the clean and modern kitchen would definitely help the water go down easier!

Cleansing is just not for me. Every time I've tried I'm failed about day 2. For some reason, I can't see the second image. But I do adore the first one. Beautiful!

I can't 'stomach' to do detox diets anymore. Pun completely intended ;)
