Bale...bale...now that was some wedding

What a whirlwhind of wedding madness. The last few days has been a crazy swirl of bindis, sarees, henna, colour, bangles, dancing, hosting, eating, crazy kids and pure desi glamour. My SIL C is happily married to her lovely groom R and are off celebrating wedded bliss. Me? I'm so dang tired I can barely move. It was a remarkbly beautiful November day and the wedding went off without a hitch. The bride was stunning and the groom was dashing...and I'm pretty confident that I cleaned up nicely too. It was wonderful to spend time with family you don't see to often. Lots of laughs and good times. My kids now miss their cousins and I'm left here sorting through about 2000 pictures...yikes. Here'a a little peak of what my last few days looked like...
 Sangeet glamour.
The bride adored with loads of little crystals on her saree. Lovely.
Mendhi time! Henna looks fantastic...this mendhi lady is good.
Our basement decoration...not bad if I do say so myself. See, sarees can be used anywhere.
Little wedding strings for us to wear & mark the happy occaision.
Me & my sis in law C showing off our mendhi (before our kids got to it).
 colours, colours & more colours!
I'm busting out the wedding kleera for the bride.

Big day. Wow..this baby was stunning and heavy.
More bridal accesorries...can't leave out those bindis.

 Breathtaking mandip.

What is an Indian wedding without elephants right?
Or glamorous outifts for that matter? Bridesmaids in blue...me on the far right blinging it out in sea foam green and cobalt blue!

My little kiddies & their cousins in the wedding procession. They made me proud!
Striking reception decor.
Lovely centrepieces.

Me busting out some Indian bhangra moves in my gorgeous grey & gold saree. Grey & gold. LOVE IT.
The bride & groom enjoying their first dance together. Congratulations C & R. All images via me & the Pennsylvania crew and any other random sibling that picked up my camera on my behalf.
