If you HAD to pick...

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

I'm a believer. If you blog it... it will come. It was only a few days ago that I complained about my lamp fiasco and thanks to talented folks like Vanessa from Decor Happy & Tim from DesignMaze they pointed me to a lamp fairy (Modnest) who will help me out. Fingers crossed in a few weeks or so I'll have lovely new lamps! Since I'm feeling a whole lotta gold lamp love here are a few rooms to pick from, which space would you choose if you absolutely had to pick?
Coloured grass cloth? I know killer table and look at those lamps! Jackie Astier design featured on Elle Decor and photographer is Erick Piasecki.
Or some mellow yellow? Barclay Fryery design featured on House Beautiful.

I am loving both looks!

Both are beautiful, but I'm all for the saturated tones of Jackie Astier's design featured on Elle Decor. Stunning only begins to describe this space!

I'd choose mellow yellow for sure! I love the doors and the gold lamps!

The grass cloth, no doubt. Such a beautiful, cozy and thoughtfully designed bedroom. But, I do love the lamps on the side tables in the second photo. They are delish!

Room no. 1! Looks very regal and the plum impact is my style!

I love the table and lamps in the first, but I love the 2nd room overall. AND those gold lamps.

I would pick the first one! It's beautiful, luxurious and a little glam!

Looking forward to see how your lamp turned out!

The first would definitely be my pick. There is more contrast in colors and textures and certainly more interesting and inviting.
