Getting tagged left right & centre..I never could run fast enough...

Okay this post may be a Designwali many of the design bloggers lately I've been tagged by some awesome ladies Jess from Mix & Chic, April from Money Pit Love, Kim from Inspired Lines, Rosa from Flutter Flutter and waaaay back,  even Shannon from 8 foot 6 wanted me to spill it. So when I do the math, its about 51 questions people! So I'll pick a few and hope that I come out looking all fabulous and super human or something.
I usually don't post many pictures of myself...I prefer being behind the camera or blocked out by some object. But since this post is about learning more about me...I figured I would give you a visual...Here I am attempting to look chic holding my sister's clutch. Trying is the key word...I'm sure there is a kid scooting past me somwhere throwing off my posing game.  N I know you are happy your clutch made it onto my blog.

Alright the lovely bloggers who are asking me to dish it out....

Here we go then, a Designwali top 20 speed round:

1 Righty or lefty? Righty. However, I hold a hockey stick, baseball bat, tennis racket or generally any sports equipment with my left hand. Yes I know family, when was the last time I even held sports equipment? Besides the point.

2. Best chick flick? Sadly the last ‘chick flick’ I saw in the theatre was Harry Potter – Deathly Hallows…only because I was watching it with chicks.

3. What are you reading at the moment? The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. Totally loving it. I’m a self-help type of gal.

4. An oldie but a goodie; brains or beauty? Brains please. I like to be smart (looking good while I'm at it  doesn't hurt either).

5. How would you describe your design style, in 5 words? Eclectic, modern, contemporary, ethnic and some days I want to be French.

6. If you could be besties with one celebrity, who would it be and why? Mindy Kaling...I REALLY want to be her friend. We could bust out in some Punjabi giddha dance moves together.

7. Describe your perfect Sunday morning: Sitting in my jammies with my cup of coffee, catching up with the Internet and watching my kids play. So I have perfect Sundays every week.

8. If you could become (or meet) any fictional character, who would it be? Mary Poppins. I would beg her to teach me how to just snap my fingers and get everything done. Of course learning to fly around and sing simultaneously would also come in handy I'm sure.

9. What is your favorite room to decorate and why? Hands down my kid’s room. There is such a freedom when decorating their rooms...permission to be silly is awesome.

10. What is your favorite decorating trend? I’m just going to say it…(as if you don’t know by reading my blog) BRASS. Pure love. And white & grey walls…but isn’t that a classic neutral already?

11.  What have you learned/ gained from blogging?  I'm more confident in my design choices. However, the best part of blogging for me is the great sense of community. There are great folks out there that really hold each other up by sharing experiences and ideas.

12. What is a little-known fact about you that your readers would be surprised to learn? I sometimes find myself randomly listening to foreign language radio stations (ahem, Des Pardes) while driving home for no apparent reason. Seriously people, I have caught myself doing this on a number of occasions. Random.

13. Coffee or tea drinker? Coffee mostly but nothing beats a good cup of Indian chai.

14. What is your favorite quote? Lately, “Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you love. It will not lead you astray. – Rumi"

15. What is your favorite food? Chocolate.

16. Favourite flower? long as I get them!

17. Favourite Song? Tough one, currently I’m listening to Florence & the Machine, Obijou and Calvin Harris.

18. Hair up or Hair down? Hair down..but I want to be bolder and walk out of the house with my hair up and not look like an auntie or a bibi.

19. What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of? My babies. They rock my world.

20. What features would your dream home have? A built in salon..a girl has got to have immediate access to her eyebrow lady right? I kid, I dream home would be white, splash of bollywood and a Japanese kettle... oh and of course, it would be full of family and happy memories (cue..collective awwww).

Whoa, this post is long.  I'll tag some bloggers sure to come back to see if you're it!

You look fabulous, girl and thanks for playing along. You are similar to my hubby, he writes with one hand and play sports using another hand. It still amazes me sometimes!

Enjoy your weekend, sweetie!
