Oh yes. This room makes me feel good. Image via Vart Nya Hem.
Maybe I could actually carve out some time to read here. Pretty. Image via here.
Alright, in my next house I'm totally getting this daybed (also known as a 'manja'). Reminds me of my grandma. Totally love this neutral one. Image via Concrete & Dust.

Lately white is my color (or non color) of choice. I just got white kitchen tables and my office is all inspired by white. It's just so clean and crisp..but of course can't stop there..must infuse pops of color to create a bit of drama.
I need that "OH!"

Love the first shot "OH" so much! Gorgeous.
Whites never go out of style. Love it!
sooooo fresh! Love it, although I don't think I could live it...love red wine too much...
I love white and that second room is breathtaking:) Have a great day, dear. xo
love the mouldings in the second picture and of course, the charpai/manja! i think that they are the epitome of desi-meets-mid-century modern :)
i totally agree. sometimes i just need a palette "cleanse" and crave all white/neutral rooms.
I'm a lover of colour but I agree that every once in a while it's nice to be surrounded with calm white. I used to own a store and painted the walls white and it was so amazing to walk in there and be instantly zen!
I'm the over the heels, never changing my mind, lover of white. These rooms are incredible. Thank you for sharing. I wouldn't mind having a "manja"/daybed in my house any day! :) The fig tree wouldn't hurt either.
Every once in a while I wonder what my house would look like with all the walls painted white and then I think I would be doing myself an injustice. But I have been leaning towards some clean white accessories to "cleanse the palette" as you say.
Obviously I LOVE these spaces...but I do enjoy visiting your blog to get my colour fix. :)
does anyone know where to buy the manja
