I am absolutely smitten with the color purple. Any shade of purple really from lilac to eggplant. It has a gentle kindness to it. This painting, in particular, furthered my love for color! Back in college, I was a bit stuck up and would claim that I never really had a favorite of anything. No favorite holiday, type of food, dress, cookies or color! My best friend from college made this painting for me. It was so calming and whimsical, which is why it sits on my bedside table. Now I can say I love purple. Actually, I'm wearing it now!
