Art to Inspiration...

Wednesday, May 2, 2012

Thanks to Supal of Chevrons & Eclairs a group of bloggers participate in a series "Art to Inspiration" where we showcase new artistic talent and show how we are inspired by it!  This month we are featuring "Echoes of Frangrant Voice" by Jo Howe. This was my take from it...
Couldn't help but thinking about star burst mirrors and a whole lotta gold. House Beautiful bedroom spotted on 6th Street Design School and the gorgeous black and gold Sabyasachi lengha I found here.

oh my goodness! That starburst mirror is the perfect translation! I'm a big fan of black cholis. They're so elegant and chic. I actually wore one to a benefit dinner!

That lehenga is stunning, the blouse is a bit high but I loves it, great interpretation!

This is a great post! I love both photos and agree they both compliment the piece completely.

I love all the beautiful gold and textures! I have always loved starburst mirrors like that, and the lengha is stunning! Fun interpretation :)

Just discovered your lovely blog. So clever how you've connected Indian fabrics from clothing to rooms... Look forward to reading more:)
