Or maybe something a bit more subtle. Available here. I'm sure if you go to any carpet store, hunt down a herringbone pattern and ask them to make it to your dimensions!

I like all of these Sundeep. I don't have any runners either but I think I could probably use a couple and I need a cute rug for my laundry room too. Love the orange chevron one you featured.
There are some cute chevron rugs at Urban Outfitters too - and for how cheap they are, they could be cut and bound to size (but depending on the size of the hall, they might work as is!).
