I'm not 21. Like, not even remotely close. But I like a good fun necklace once and awhile without breaking the bank. Oh don't get me wrong, I love quality jewellery (ahem my husband would agree), but once and a while you just want something fun and colourful and easy - and Forever 21 hits the spot. Now, you have to go in with a mission. I like to look for things that make a statement either with colour or texture. I avoid too sparkly, too fussy or too cute. Litmus test - if your 6 year old kid would want to wear it....PUT IT DOWN YOU ARE LOSING FOCUS. Despite the pangs of old age and the occaisional bump into a tween or two, I enjoy the thrill of the hunt. I like finding a bauble that will instantly cheer up my wardrobe! ah, my thirteen year old daughter now shops there, and so we go together, which is strange!!! Like you said, if she really loves something it's generally too young for me, but there is heaps of accessories and clothing that I would wear. Bought four pairs of linen shorts there in the spring for twelve dollars each...

I love all of these and I totally agree about mixing some inexpensive costume jewlery in with your really pretty pieces - it's nice to have some fun stuff that you're not too attached to and don't have to worry about losing/something happening to it (can you tell I have trouble keeping track of my jewelry?)

The first and last one's totally love them. I've actually bought some plain rhinestones and planning to add a splash of color to them. Plans for my next month's upcoming designs.
Almost ALL of my bold necklaces are from F21. I'm always ashamed when people askme where I got it. haha
That last one is totally my style - gonna have to hit up Forever 21 this weekend! :) I seriously love that store - I don't care if my jeans cost $12! It just means I can buy 3 necklaces, a couple of dresses, flats and a fedora as well. ;)

Great round up here. I buy a lot of jewelery at Forever 21. And I ALWAYS get compliments on them. People are always shocked. I think I need to make a trip to F21 - we recently got one in London Ontario! Woohoo! Happy shopping!
