I'm fortunate to have a design savvy mom. In fact, she takes credit for my 'design eye'. Rightly so. Looking back she was always decorating our home with flower arrangements, hanging macrame and of course beautiful bedding was a necessity for everyone. When my folks travel they often bring back a treasure trove of goodies for the home (mostly tourist tchochkes but on a few occasions a show stopper). My parents recent trip to South East Asia resulted in me scoring this stunning handcrafted Chinese
Cloisonne enamel vase. Each one of my sisters got one representing their Chinese horoscope year. Since I'm of the year of the dragon I got this lovely yellow and blue piece - and I absolutely love it. When I walk by this little beauty it makes me happy and apparently according to google this little vase shall bring me luck and good fortune. I'll take that any day!
I'm digging this crazy looking dragon!
As soon as we received our gifts my sisters handed over their vases to me without me even asking. They figured I would want to take pictures of them for my blog. You gotta love sisters...mine know me so well!
My sisters got the ox and horse vases. I have absolutely no problem hanging on to them ladies if you need me too. Photos via me.

Excuse me I would like my vase back
THANK YOU
I LOVE these. My parents are traveling in China right now and when they asked what they could bring back I suggested they find something with our Birth Year animals on it for me and my two sisters. We shall see if they find anything as cool as these. I will keep you posted.
They are stunning! I especially love yours.
these are gorgeous.
What a fantastic gift to bring home! When I traveled to China I brought back necklaces for my friends with jade charms of their Chinese horoscope animal. I like each of them, but especially loving the colors in yours (and how cool are dragons?! I'm the year of the rat! ugh) ;)
