Japanese cuisine..yum.

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

A few weekends ago my kids got initiated into the world of Japanese cuisine courtesy of their aunt C (Naoko Eats). We all enjoyed some yummy family style sushi and walked along the harbour front for some ice-cream on a warm evening. So nice to be tourist in your city. I definitely need to do more of that during the summer.
Yummy avacado & cucumber rolls! Delish. More photoss of this delicious Japanese dinner here.
Japanese food tastes better with Japanese Sapporo beer!
Aunt C spoiled the kids with this fun marble filled Japanese fizzy drink. Instantsly C became their favourite aunt ever.
Enjoying an evening stroll to get some yummy ice-cream. Love the crazy city lights in this shot and of course D just fits right in! All images via me.

I am a big fan of sushi! I have to make them at least one a month. Sometimes, twice a month! Those sushi are looking so good, by the way!

We are lucky in Toronto that there are tons and tons of Japanese restaurants we can go to. Don't forget to send me a note for the Blurb cash code. You are the winnder!

We'll have to do it again soon!

@How2home - I actually got my place mats from the Ashley Warehouse sale that happens in December in Toronto. From what I remember, it was a pretty good price!
