Desi Art...well, more like pretty desi books I really really want.

Wednesday, July 18, 2012

I obviously read way too many blogs and hang out in Pinterest land too much. I'm always wanting stuff. It doesn't help that my posts just continue to fan that flame. Talk about desperately applying my self restraint...some days I get weak though. Today just might be one of those days. I spotted these two lovely books To India with Love by Waris Ahluwalia and Rajasthan by Pauline Van Lynden. None of these books are new publications by any means, but they look so lovely and quite frankly, I need to be living with them in my home. Pretty books equal quick design fix and some eduation. Win. Win.  Since they are not new I'm finding them hard to track down (especially Waris Ahulwalia's book). What does a girl have to do get her hands on a new copy? Oh, did I just hear my credit card being pulled out of my wallet?
I even have a Indigo gift card just ready to use. Indigo peeps can you help a gal out? Amazon? anyone? To India with Love by Waris Ahluwalia.
I am seriously judging this book by its cover. Oh, I think this one might be available....Rajasthan by Pauline Van Lyden. Total sucker for pretty books.

Okay this is seriously bizarre: I was just ogling the Rajasthan book last night on amazon--it's on my wishlist for now, along with a million other things. :)
