Monday Must Have...

Monday, July 30, 2012

Let's start Monday off with a little green shall we? I spotted this Fern and Moss wall art on Vivaterra and thought it would really make a statement on a wall. Quite literally living art. Then again, I have like no green thumb and am pretty sure I would just end up killing it. I would probably worry about bugs too. Actually this art may stress me out. It would look very cool on a modern white wall though. Could you guys do it?
Looks great on this wood wall too doesn't it? Available at Vivaterra.
Oh I think I like this all moss grouping better. Can you kill moss easily? Who am I kidding, I killed my succulents. Pretty though. Also available at Vivaterra.

haha, yes I know what you mean by getting stressed out with a wall like this. i have no green thumbs either!...i also read somewhere abt this easy way to make art....you make a moss liquid (in your liquidiser ugggghh!) and then spray it on your wall (write something with it, or draw a design) water it every day, and soon you will have a mossy design!

Great Idea...but I have no green thumb too. Maybe my better half would like to see this! It is a fantastic idea though!

I love living walls. Especially on a fence (like your second pic). I don't know how you water these things though. Must be some kind of trough in the bottom.

I LOVE the idea of living green art, particularly as I've got into gardening this year (successfully planted a whole flower bed! This is quite a feat for me as I used to have a black thumb before.)

But... like you said, the idea of bugs puts me off having something like this indoors. Would be fabulous on an outdoor garden wall though!
