Niece's nursery room reveal!

I think it was ages ago where I mentioned I was working with my sister to get her nursery ready for her baby gal D. We put together a mood board, added a chair, bought a light,  some art & pillows and well, ran out of steam. Actually, let me correct that...we just got hugely distracted by cute baby D. As I have learned now, cute baby distraction can seriously hinder design execution. Anyway, have a look at what we actually managed to finish.

We started with some big ideas. Really quite easy when you just cut & paste design. Sorry I was too lazy to take a before picture. If you imagine a green empty room (BM Raindance), with nothing but bare walls and a bunch of empty boxes lying around - that would be it.

 Our favourite corner of the room. A lovely glider, nice modern crib & shelves. Simple & pretty! Sorry for the crappy lighting...it was a night shoot!

 One of my favourite items in the room are the pillows from Milk & Cookies.  This shop has fabulous combinations and such great service! Love this combo of pink, white & grey available here.

Yes D has a double bed in her room, for those nights where mama can't make it back to her room and needs to crash.

What's a room without cute baby feet? At some point my sister and I will finish this space (need some curtains and maybe some more art), but for now it is a happy place for our special princess D. All images via me.
