Come on lottery fairy...work your magic

A bright and chirpy hello to all of you folks this fine September Monday. I gather you note a slightly 'happy' tone in my post today. I'm trying to think all positive and focus on laws of attraction. You know, if you will it...it will come sorta vibe.  To be specific, I'm referring to 'willing' the Princess Margaret Welcome Home Sweepstakes $4.3 million show home. I like to aim high. Last week I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of this gorgeous home with loads of talented and chic design bloggers. This house was designed by the  House & Home design gurus themselves and I am not going to lie...it was beautiful. It was bright and beautiful. You walked in and felt lighter. It was grand but felt comfortable. Healing in its own kinda way. It is going to make one lucky winner very, very happy (ahem, keeping my fingers crossed here). If you live in the greater Toronto area I highly recommend a visit and of course, a ticket purchase. Your money and time will not go in vain. Good design for an even better cause makes it completely worth it.
I could see lively parties in this living room.  Seriously anyone visualizing a dhol player? Love that West Elm rug & custom coffee table.
Come on now, wouldn't we all sleep better in this room? Love that bed.
One of my favourite rooms in the house..the study. It had a lovely blue couch with vibrant cushions. I loved all that wood.
Okay the doors in this place totally won me over. My dream home will have doors like these. Just sayin.
Lovely entry...felt so good right when you walked in.
Lovely Sharalee from Escapade was busting out her photog skills in the stunning dining room.
Maybe, just maybe I would enjoy doing laundry more if I had a space like this. Okay R, stop laughing.
A fabulous kid's room rocking a chevron rug and of course a teeny tiny bit of desi vibe going on with that kantha quilt from West Elm. So naturally you know I'm going to love it.

This home just fits right in. The exterior was elegant and relaxed. The landscaping felt good. You know what I mean? Yep, I could easily live here. There were so many other fabulous spaces - you'll have to see for yourself.  Go visit if you can. Get a ticket and help folks get rid of cancer. Enter the Princess Margaret Welcome Home Sweepstakes - a good way to start the week. All images via me.

Really? How could we miss each other? I hurried in as soon as we were given the 'go-head' so I could get some good photos. Loved the metal doors!!! Great take on the house... next time, let's make a point of where badges with big, bold letters!
