If you HAD to pick...

Thursday, September 13, 2012

I'm tired yo. How is this possible when its only like the second week of September? I can't believe how my work schedule and managing school routines has exhausted me so quickly. Old nutella habits and lack of exercize is starting to creep back in....and I know in my head I have to kaibosh that as soon as possible. Maybe I need to start yoga or something to keep my zen & chi all straight.  Which gets me thinking which room would evoke your inner calm? If you HAD to pick?
A room with a view? Beautiful Allandale House by William O'Brien Jr spotted on Amsterdam Modern.
Or Mr Buddha head on the floor? Lovely design by Danish deisgner Brigitte Rabens featured on Lovenordic Design Blog.

The first one looks more peaceful but needs a bit more furniture and maybe a Persian rug to warm it up? (I do have a thing for Buddha heads though!)

I love the second photo. I'm really drawn to the plant life and would find that sitting area very calming. I find more peace in comfort, and that space looks more cozy. :)

Can't we have a room with both the view on one side and a cosy corner on the other :-)
