Snap - weekend over. Come and gone already. I'm pretty sure all I did was do some laundry and hit a birthday party at some bouncy place. Seriously, is it just me or do you people experience this blink of an eye phenomenon called weekend time? I did manage to drag my kids to Chapters hoping to score some of their new holiday goodies. Turns out I wasn't so lucky as I couldn't find the brass tray or Gold Ice bucket I was after in my local store (on the plus side, my wallet was happy). All wasn't lost as we picked up a few books and had a great storytime later on that evening. But I'm still dreaming of this gold ice bucket. A must have for me.

I'm sort of jealous that you only had one birthday party this weekend - I was subjected to four. With no alcohol at any of them. Sigh.
