Holiday Giveaway Week...Chobhi Scarf

Thursday, December 13, 2012

It was like all the stars aligned perfectly when Tanima from Chobhi sent me a note asking me to do a giveaway of her stunning work. I kid you not. Simply stunning. Tanima and her business partner Ronjiny are true renaissance women who live thousands of miles apart but have brought together their talent and make wearable art. You can read more of their story here.
I wanted to be a greedy cow and keep this next giveaway for myself...because its THAT beautiful. Yes one of you will win one of Tanima's scarves! This one to be exact...

Tanima uses her nature photography as her design inspiration for her scarves. Her photos literally come to life. You could be wearing this Pakhi scarf very soon. I think I may need to get this one for myself too...or if any loved one is reading this...yes, I will be happy with this in my stocking. Just sayin'.
Or maybe one of these... so many lovely ones to pick from!

So what do you have to do to win this gorgeous scarf?

1. Visit Chobhi and tell me in a comment which one is your favourite. Easy.

For you extra entry peeps...
1. Like Chobhi on facebook and leave me a comment below telling me you did.
2. Like me on facebook too. Why not? Tell me in comments.
3. Follow @ChobhiCreations on twitter and tweet about her scarves! Don't forget to include my @Designwali twitter handle too! Leave me a comment telling me you did!
4. Follow Chobhi on Pinterest and tell me you did.
5. Follow the Chobhi blog and tell me about it.

This one is open to all my INTERNATIONAL readers too!  So good right?

Now, what are you doing, stop reading & enter. When you win and get compliments on your scarf...you'll thank me.

I think I like the papri one best.. they are all so beautiful!

I can't decide between them all, they're so stunning. However purple and green are my favourite colours and I adore peacock feathers, so I would have to say the Moyur in chiffon (which I would love to pair with a plain purple salwaar kameez as a striking modern Indian outfit!)

I have followed Chobi on Pinterest, and her exquisite blog too. I wish I'd known about Chobi sooner! But that's why I follow your blog :) (nazneen372)

I've also liked you both on Facebook :)

Followed on Twitter and tweeted too - which I don't often do as my Twitter account is mostly for work, but I think some of my South Asian cultural studies colleagues would also love the scarves!

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU! I am really so touched at the response! We just lauched on December 1st, so I have been having the first time business owner jitters and doubts. It's great to hear feedback from family and friends about your products, but a part of you always thinks it's their love for you that makes them like the designs. To hear your feedback boosts my confidence and makes me feel like I made a good decision to start this journey. Thank you Thank you!
