Oh Christmas tree I see..

Given recent events it is even more important to spread the message of love, family and peace.  I am going to try very hard to constantly will good karma, kindness and happiness. I need this energy to be stronger than the sadness many of us still feel as parents after hearing the awful news last week. I believe that small joys can be profound and make an impact. This week I will bring you small Christmas joys. Specifically, snapshots from my friend's homes (non-blogger folk) of how they bring a little joyful Christmas spirit into their homes. It will be like a glimpse through someone's window and spotting their Christmas tree. I'll start it off with my very own black, white & gold tree. My daughter wants more colour and is demanding an overhaul next year, but I'm partial to its simplicity and touch of glam. It makes me happy and reminds me how blessed I truly am.

No tree of mine is done without the Indian touch. Love my paisley ornaments and my Indian princess.

My tree in all its real life glory. Kiddies pulled the silk curtains and the rod off the wall, which now requires a repair job. Sigh. All part of the fun.

I couldn't resist picking up this little glass case and then all of the sudden it demanded a reindeer. I have friends protesting already to free the reindeer!

My little globe ornament from the Land of Nod. A reminder for us on how connected we all really are.

Truly the best part of my Christmas and of my life. All images via me.

Love your tree but also love that saying - so true. Happy Holidays! PS recognize the glass case and bought a couple similar pieces.
