My Desi Home

Have a little peak at my little desi abode. A suburban cookie cutter dwelling that I'm trying to make a little more individual...a little more me. The to do list is endless. Suburbia for now (babysitters are too close by...a hot commodity if I want a life), but one day I'll either be in a grand old designer chic home in Toronto or out somewhere in the boondocks where I have lovely home and a great view. I haven't decided which one yet. For now this is our little desi home.

My living room. The only finished space.

Although I'm tiring of the rug and want to get a new one. The art piece will move into our kitchen too.

Our adjoining dining room. Cheapy Ikea table for now. My chandelier makes me happy. Loads of twinkle.

My Gluckstein cabinet, favourite items from Indian and an art piece I won at a silent auction. Oh orchid, you were nice while you lasted.

My family room fireplace. The before was a tacky builder corner fireplace (shivers).

A better view of my family. Not a sectional, but I get loads of folks around my house and this piece had to be comfy & roomy. Love the fabric but hate the cushions with this sofa.
